India: Family Blessed By Christmas Care Pack

Last year, 6-year-old Sahil received a VOM Christmas Care Pack filled with a Bible, a toy and personal hygiene products. When he returned to his home with the backpack, his father’s eyes filled with tears. His mother, who passed away a few years ago, had always wanted to give her son a nice backpack, but it was not something his single father could afford to buy. As Sahil’s father looked at his son proudly displaying his new backpack, he was overwhelmed with gratitude. “I am so thankful to the Lord for the gifts he gave to my son that I couldn’t give him,” he said. Included among the items in a Christmas Care Pack is a full-color illustrated Children’s Bible. Sahil said, “I liked the Children’s Bible. I will read it every day and pray to Jesus.”

Pray that Sahil and his father will live boldly for Jesus Christ as Sahil reads his Bible.

Pray that people will continue to be blessed in this way through Voice of the Martyrs and other non-profit organisations.
