BURKINA FASO: Two Pastors Survive Deadly Attack

On 24 November 2025, jihadi militants attacked the small village of Langnoassi in the northern part of Burkina Faso, killing four men. They also burned homes, storage buildings and several motorcycles and bicycles. Two pastors managed to escape, but they lost their homes, household belongings and motorbikes in the attack.

Christian villages in Burkina Faso have been regularly attacked by Islamist rebel groups in recent years. The rebels, some aligned with the self-proclaimed Islamic State (ISIS), seek to establish an Islamic caliphate in the country.

“Pray for the comfort of the families who lost loved ones,” said a Front-Line Worker. “Pray for provision for those who lost everything, protection for the pastors and other Christians, and for peace and strength during this difficult time.”
