Recently, two Christians have been rejected because of their faith.
The first man, Yacouba, was hit by a car and paralyzed. After Christians in his village prayed for him and he was healed, he followed Christ. Yacouba’s father then wanted to kill him, so he fled to a local church.
Another Believer experienced similar persecution. Flora struggled with an illness that caused erratic behaviour and insomnia. During a Christian meeting in her village, she received prayer and was healed. She also became a follower of Jesus. This decision infuriated her father, who told her she must choose family or Christ. She remained firm in her faith and was kicked out. Though her living conditions are difficult, she remains committed to Christ. “She consistently goes to church,” a Front-Line Worker said. “She prays that she has the strength to continue living faithfully for God.”
Pray for Yacouba and Flora to remain strong in their faith.
Pray for their families to stop persecuting them and to realize that they need to Jesus.
