YEMEN: Widow of Christian Martyr Receives Support

A Christian widow, Yasmin, and her four children have been cared for by the global body of Christ after her husband’s martyrdom.

When Nasr, Yasmin's husband, became a follower of Christ, it angered Muslims in his neighbourhood. Islamists affiliated with al-Qaida in central Yemen then attacked him, dragging him out of his home and forcing his wife, Yasmin, and their four children to witness his execution. The global body of Christ helped Yasmin and her children move to another part of the country where they are safer and where the local community of Christians helps care for them.
