Father God, we thank You that You are sovereign. You rule over all the nations of the world, Nothing takes you by surprise, And nothing is out of your control.
We thank You that You are love. Your mercies are new every morning, Your compassion never fails, You are always working for good in our lives.
We pray for everyone who is affected by the coronavirus. Heal those who are sick, Comfort those who mourn, Protect those who are vulnerable, Give courage to those who are scared, Be close to those who are isolated, Strengthen those who are serving, Save those who are lost.
And Father, we continue to pray for our brothers and sisters who are persecuted because they love You. They know all about restrictions, confinement and isolation, And yet they follow. Thank You for their courage and perseverance, Thank You for Your work in their lives, Help us to learn from their example.
